Biodegradable Poop Bags

As we know through our regular clean-up actions, but also through exchange with many cities and municipalities, a large number of dog waste bags still end up in the environment. Since these, unlike dog poop, are not biodegradable themselves, they can represent a major plastic waste problem for decades or even centuries.

Again and again there are folded, unused bags that were obviously unintentionally released into the environment. In addition, many dog waste bags are even willfully disposed of. It is therefore crucial for us that as many dog waste bags as possible are replaced with degradable material.

With our biodegradable dog waste bags, we offer you the ideal solution:

– Made of the most modern generation of bioplastics
– OK compost HOME certified (tested at 20 – 30 °C) by TÜV Austria

Recycled Poop Bags

As a cost-effective alternative that is also eco-friendly designed, we offer poop bags made in the EU from at least 80 % recycled material (PE). This means significant CO₂ savings compared to virgin PE made from new granulate.

According to our current state of knowledge, we are pioneers in the field of recycled poop bags in small roll format in terms of eco-friendly design. We are currently not aware of any comparable product in which the bags are made with PE from at least 80% post-consumer recyclate in the European Union, with a film thickness of 15 micrometres, and which are also certified with the Blue Angel. Poop bag dispenser

The inke. poop bag dispenser in our “The Sustainable People Edition” is carefully handcrafted in Northern Germany and is the ideal home for our dog waste bags. Only durable materials are used that can withstand everyday use for a long time and are very easy to clean. The dispenser is made of a water-repellent, hard-wearing cotton blend in accordance with OEKO-TEX Standard 100. It also has a sturdy scissor carabiner without sharp corners. The print is applied to the bag by hand with high heat and high pressure, so that it can also be washed in a washing machine at 30 °C using a laundry net.

Treat bag

Doggyssnapper - „Pooper Scooper“

The Doggyssnapper is a reusable waste bag gripper. This is used together with a dog waste bag so that it always stays clean. Recessed grips for the fingers and thumbs make handling easier and enable the dog excrement to be picked up comfortably without noticing it on the fingers. Due to its light, compact construction, the Doggyssnapper fits in almost any pocket and can be carried with you comfortably.

Recycled drawstring bin liners

For the collection of recyclable materials or residual waste, we offer recycling drawstring bin liners in different sizes. They are made in the EU and are certified with the Blue Angel.

The garbage bags are made from at least 90 % post-consumer waste (PE, e.g. from household recycling) in a resource-saving way. This means a significant saving in CO₂ compared to fresh PE made from new granulate.

In addition, the use of recycled plastic compared to new granulate is synonymous with less land use, since there is no oil production.

Recycled garbage bags

For the collection of recyclable materials or residual waste, we offer bin liners made from recycled material, with a capacity of 60 / 120 / 240 liters in different colours and formats. They are manufactured in the EU and are certified with the Blue Angel ecolabel.

Our recylate garbage bags with a material thickness of 25 or 30 µm are ideal when a lot of, rather lighter but voluminous waste has to be disposed of, e.g. in the home, garden and company.
Our heavy-duty garbage bags with a material thickness of 70 or 100 µm are the ideal choice when a lot of heavy waste has to be disposed of. Thanks to the strong, tear-resistant material and the robust bottom seam, they can also withstand heavier objects with edges.

Home-compostable organic waste bags

Home-compostable organic waste bags from The Sustainable People are 100 % biodegradable and compostable in accordance with EN 13432 and can therefore be placed directly in the organic waste bin, if approved by the local authorities. In addition, our organic waste bags are OK compost HOME certified even in four times the thickness and can therefore be composted at home. They also rot on the domestic compost without leaving any pollutants behind.

Home-compostable organic waste bags from The Sustainable People are ideal for compostable waste from the kitchen and garden. For example: fruit and vegetable residues, tea and coffee grounds (also with filter bags), nut and egg shells, garden and plant waste. Our home-compostable garbage bags are 100 % biodegradable and compostable according to EN 13432 and can therefore, if officially approved, be put directly in the organic waste bin. In addition, our organic waste bags are certified „OK compost HOME“ – even with four times their thickness – and are therefore home-compostable. They also rot on the domestic compost without leaving any pollutants behind. The quality of the resulting compost is guaranteed. Our home-compostable garbage bags don’t just disintegrate, they are actively broken down via enzymes and microorganisms. As with other organic materials, for example a leaf or an apple, the time it takes to break down depends on environmental factors such as moisture, heat, solar radiation and, above all, the presence of microorganisms. Depending on the season, as well as the type, composition and quality of the compost and the composter used (open garden composter, thermo, worm box, etc.), the time required for degradation therefore varies.

Organic waste bin

The perfect roommate for our home-compostable organic waste bags is our organic waste bin. Together with our home-compostable garbage bags, it reduces moisture and thus the formation of mold and unpleasant odors.

Through the recesses in the bucket and our breathable garbage bags, the organic waste – which naturally has a particularly high proportion of water – can release moisture, which reduces its weight and thus less energy has to be used for transport. The bucket is made from 100 % recycled material in the EU and, as it is made entirely of the same material (PP), it is 100 % recyclable. The recesses not only ensure good ventilation, but also reduce material consumption for production and make the bucket lighter. Thanks to the integrated bag holder, the garbage bags used cannot slip or fall into the bucket. A safety lock on the sturdy handle also prevents accidental opening and spilling of the bucket while carrying it, even with a lively walk.

This is PE with a high proportion (at least 80 %) of renewable raw materials, with sugar cane serving as the starting material. Biobased PE also impresses with a negative CO₂ balance (cradle-to-gate).
